# Grants and refills

> Request project, infrastructure, land, and city grants, or refill your supplies

The alliance funds your growth with grants. You request a grant with the bot. A banker approves it. The bot then sends the resources to your nation.

## Before you request

Every grant request checks these rules. The bot tells you which rule blocks you.

* You are verified with the bot. Run `/verify start` first.
* You are not in vacation mode.
* You are on a valid trade color: yellow, lime, beige, or mint.
* You are not grant-restricted.
* You are not on 5/5 taxes. Trainees are exempt from this rule.
* Trainees must have a web profile on the alliance portal and must complete the **First Strike** quest first.

## Request a grant

| Command          | What it funds                                                                                                             |
| ---------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `/grant project` | A project grant. Pick the project from a menu that shows each cost. Blocked while your project timer runs.                |
| `/grant infra`   | An infrastructure grant. Pick a target level from a menu. Some levels need project prerequisites.                         |
| `/grant land`    | A land grant. Pick a target level from a menu. Some levels need project prerequisites.                                    |
| `/grant city`    | Your next city, fully funded with infrastructure and land up to the alliance average. Blocked while your city timer runs. |

Use `/grant list` to browse every grant and its cost first.

## What happens next

1. The bot posts your request to the banker channel. The post shows your nation, your readiness, and the grant contents.
2. You see: "your request has been sent!"
3. A banker approves or denies the request.
4. On approval, the bot sends the resources to your nation. You may also get a DM with build advice.
5. On denial, your grant timer resets. A denial does not count against you.

A grant request starts your grant timer. Wait for the timer before your next grant.

## Refills

Refills top up your supplies to the alliance standard. Refills do not start your grant timer. Refills still count as grants you have taken. Members not on 100/100 taxes must confirm a warning before the request is sent.

| Command                               | What it tops up                                                                                 |
| ------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `/refill full amount:peace/war`       | Money, food, uranium, munitions, gasoline, steel, and aluminum up to the chosen warchest level. |
| `/refill essentials amount:peace/war` | Food and uranium only.                                                                          |
| `/refill raw resource:<name>`         | One raw resource (lead, iron, coal, bauxite, or oil) up to the standard for your city count.    |

The bot only sends what you are missing. If you are already stocked, it tells you.

## Banker tools

* `/grant restrict user:@member` toggles grant restriction on a member.
* `/grant reset user:@member` resets a member's grant timer.
