The alliance taxes your in-game income. The bot tracks what you pay and what the alliance grants you. You can view your position and set your own rates.

View your overview

Run /taxes overview. The bot shows:
  • Taxes Paid: what you have paid the alliance.
  • Grants Received: what the alliance has given you.
  • Net: taxes minus grants.
  • Holdings Value: your deposits at market prices.
  • Tax Rates: your money percent and resource percent.
  • Total Balance: net plus holdings.
Set privacy_mode to true to keep the reply visible only to you. Bankers and Econ staff can view other members with the user option.

Set your rates

Run /taxes set with money_tax and resource_tax. Both are percentages from 5 to 100. The bot assigns the matching in-game tax bracket automatically. Rules:
  • Only full members can set their own rates. Trainees cannot.
  • If your tax balance is negative, you can only raise your rates. Contact a banker if you need an adjustment.
  • Members on 5/5 taxes are not eligible for grants. Members not on 100/100 taxes get a warning before refills.

Banker tools

  • /taxes set user:@member sets rates for another member. Add force:true for a nation outside the alliance; the bot then reminds you to apply the rate in game.
  • /taxes add-granted user:@member amount:<dollars> adjusts a member’s granted total. Use a negative amount to subtract.
  • /taxes enabled value:<true/false> toggles tax collection tracking.
  • /taxes global-set applies one rate to every bracket, for example in wartime. Use restore:true to put each bracket back to its original rates. The bot walks you through the collection on/off steps.
  • /taxes export sheet_id:<sheet> writes every member’s tax record to a Google Sheet.
  • /taxes assign-trainees puts every trainee into the correct trainee tax bracket based on their time in the alliance.
